Student Software

The following software and computer programs are pre-loaded on each students’ laptop computer

• Windows 10   64 Bit
• Office 2016 Professional Plus – Includes Word, Excel, Power Point, OneNote, Access, Outlook, InfoPath, Publisher
• Adobe Reader
• Google Chrome
• Windows Defender
• Microsoft Silverlight
  
  

Students are not permitted to load software on their District laptop. Some common examples of prohibited software may include, but are not limited to, file sharing (Limewire, BitTorrent), utilities/OS (OSX or other upgrades), games (Halo, Emulators), etc. Laptops are subject to spot checks for compliance by administration.

Student Access

• Shared network storage (Student S: Drives)
• Student provided email address using Outlook or http://mail.marsk12.org
• All email addresses will be monitored
• LightSpeed Web Filtering – Will provide in district and out of district web filtering and monitoring
