Mars Area School District offers daily breakfast and lunch in every school. Lunch prices for the 2018-2019 School Year are $2.80 for elementary students. The cost for breakfast is $1 for elementary students. The a la carte milk price is 65 cents.

The District participates in the National School Lunch Program which offers discounted or free meals to eligible families. All children approved for free or reduced-price meals the previous year are automatically eligible for the first 30 days of the next school year.

Note: Mars Area High School and Mars Area Middle School do not participate in the National School Lunch Program; however, eligible students in Grades 7-12 may still apply for discounted or free meals. For an application specific to the High School and/or Middle School program, click on the "Free & Reduced Price Meals" link (at right).
Parents may request meal modifications to accommodate a child's disability in accordance with District Policy 209.1 Food Allergy Management.

For more information about the District's breakfast/lunch program, contact Mrs. Kris Barr at (724) 625-1518, ext. 1510. For more information or to obtain an application, click on the "Free & Reduced Price Meals" link (at right).
