Mars Area School District offers daily breakfast and lunch in every school. For the 2024-2025 School Year, the lunch price is $2.90 and the breakfast is free for elementary students (K-6). For secondary students (7-12), the lunch price is $3.50 and breakfast is $1.50.

The District participates in the National School Lunch Program at all of the District's elementary schools, which offer discounted or free meals to eligible families. Applications for the program are available online at www.marsk12.org, www.schoolcafe.com or www.compass.state.pa.us. All children approved for free or reduced-price meals the previous year are automatically eligible for the first 30 days of the next school year.

Note: Mars Area High School and Mars Area Middle School do not participate in the National School Lunch Program; however, eligible students in Grades 7-12 may still apply for discounted or free meals. An application specific to the High School/Middle School program is available online at www.marsk12.org or www.schoolcafe.com.

Parents/guardians may also apply for Free & Reduced Price Meals through SchoolCafé

Note: Any MySchoolBucks account balances that remained at the end of the 2023-2024 School Year have been transferred into the respective students' SchoolCafé accounts. Upon logging in your child's SchoolCafé account, any balance will be listed.

The webstore, available online at https://marsk12.revtrak.net/, integrates with SchoolCafé and the Skyward student information system. The system offers e-mail notifications and receipts for all purchases.
