Schoology serves as Mars Area School District's Learning Management System (LMS) for students in Grades 7-12 and their parents. And, the system is an instructional communication portal for parents of students in Grades K-6.

At the secondary (7-12) level, students use Schoology to access instructional materials, assignments, assessments and a calendar of classroom information. Parents may use Schoology to view their student’s course activities such as assignments, posts, classroom announcements, classroom calendar and instructional materials.

For elementary (K-6) parents, Schoology is a “classroom teacher-to-home” communication vehicle. Through the system, parents may access weekly information posted by teachers about a student’s class; class calendars of important events; and, learning documents such as links to instructional materials, spelling lists, tips and tools for students, etc.
