Substitute Teachers
Mars Area School District contracts Day-to-Day Substitute Teachers through ESS. ESS is responsible for employing substitute teachers and filling all teacher absences.

Daily Pay Rate
The daily pay rate for day-to-day substitute teachers is $115/day. After 30 days worked in one school year, the daily pay rate increases to $125/day.
The daily pay rate for retired Mars Area School District teachers working as a day-to-day substitute teacher us $125/day.
