  • Stay alert and pay close attention to signs and flaggers.
  • Expect the unexpected. 
  • Turn on your headlights, if instructed to do so.
  • Maintain a safe distance around all vehicles. Do not  tailgate.
  • Avoid distractions and give pay attention to the road.
  • Always buckle up.

• • Avoid walking through the area, as work zones are potentially dangerous places with construction vehicles and workers often moving suddenly when performing their tasks.
  • Be alert.
  • Cross at signaled crosswalks.
