Josh Schwoebel, Mars Area School District Director of Communications, received an award in the Electronic Newsletters category of the 2017 PenSPRA (Pennsylvania School Public Relations Association) Excellence in Education Communication Contest. 

Schwoebel received an Award of Honor for the District’s weekly eNewsletter, The eCommunicator, which provides information about upcoming activities/events, student/staff achievement and District news. The eCommunicator is distributed via e-mail every Thursday during the school year to all Mars Area parents (K-12), District teachers/staff members, and to more that 1,500 community members who subscribe to the publication.
