Mars Area School District is encouraging students to participate in two upcoming art contests:
- Children’s Grief Poster Contest — The Highmark Caring Place Caring Team for Grieving Students Children’s Grief Poster Contest, open to students in Grades K-12, has the theme, “How Can You Support a Friend Who is Grieving?” Poster contest submissions must be hand-drawn on 11-by-17-inch paper (no computer-generated or digital images) and may be submitted through Friday, Jan. 30. - How to be a Hero Coloring Contest — Edgar Snyder & Associates, in cooperation with The Cameron Heyward Foundation, is offering its annual How to be a Hero Coloring Contest for students in Grades K-5.
