Mars Area School District officials have concluded an investigation into a rumored threat of violence associated with tonight's away varsity football game at McKeesport Area Senior High School and have determined the rumor to be untrue and any threat to be "non-credible." 

District officials have been in contact with McKeesport Area administrators to further ensure the safety of any Mars Area students, parents, staff and/or community members in attendance at the game. Please note that, at no time, was there any imminent threat to the health and safety of the student body and/or staff members at Mars Area High School or at any other District buildings.
