Several student ambassadors from Mars Area Centennial School and Mars Area Elementary School represented Mars Area School District at the 2025 PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports) Student Leadership Summit, held Oct. 2 at Midwestern Intermediate Unit 4 (Grove City, Pa.).

Participants included sixth-grader Asher Detore, Zoey Szelong and Kierstyn Graham; fifth-graders Cole Runyon and Hannah Zeigler; and, fourth-graders Adelle Melaro, Brooklyn Burkovich, Henry Welch, Ben Duff and Ada McCurry.

The event offered a discussion of PBIS initiatives at elementary schools throughout Butler County. Participants also joined in an activity rotation and had an opportunity to showcase their school’s PBIS program.
