Mars Area School District has been notified by PennDOT that the eastern entrance to Mars Area High School along Route 228 will be CLOSED on Friday, Sept. 12, and Saturday, Sept. 13, while crews complete paving in the area. 

Note: The District did not receive timely notification from PennDOT in order to report that the entrance would be closed today (Thursday, Sept. 11). While our District works closely with PennDOT officials to minimize any impacts to our campuses during the ongoing road constructioe, we were, unfortunately, not able to communicate this information prior to the start of the school day today. We apologize for any inconvenience.

During the closure, access to Mars Area High School will remain available via Three Degree Road (South) and the Milky Way access road. We ask that you please allow extra time when traveling to/from Mars Area High School and exercise additional caution when driving through the school's campus.
