Mars Area High School graduates Aiden Kuremsky and Morgan Duker were named valedictorian and salutatorian of the Class of 2025, respectively.
Aiden Kuremsky is a recipient of the U.S. Marine Corps — Scholastic Excellence, Edward Choura Vocational-Technical Automotive Tech/Baseball Scholarship, Ira E. Baumgartel MD Scholar-Athlete Scholarship, Jake Cooper Memorial Scholarship, Mars Backstop Club Baseball Scholarship, Ray Schleiden Family Scholarship and a 2023 Challenge Program (Academic Excellence) Award.
At Mars Area High School, Kuremsky served as National Honor Society secretary and was a member of Key Club, Science National Honor Society, and Varsity Club. He was also a member of the Varsity Baseball Team and Boys Varsity Cross Country Team.
He plans to attend Virginia Tech as a chemical engineering major.
Morgan Duker is a recipient of the 2024-2025 Maude Neithercoat Award.
At Mars Area High School, Duker served as National Honor Society secretary and was a member of Class Council, Interact Club, Key Club, Spanish Club, and Spanish National Honor Society. She was also a member of the Girls Varsity Soccer Team, which advanced to the 2024 PIAA Class 3A Girls Varsity Soccer Championships after taking third place in the WPIAL Championships.
In addition, she was a member of the Girls Varsity Track & Field Team. During the 2025 Season, she set a new school record with a time of 25.90 in the 200-Meter Dash and 57.01 in the 400-Meter Dash.
She plans to attend Clemson University as a business major.
