Students Join in "Wild About Positive Behavior" Day

Mars Area Primary Center is “Wild About Positive Behavior” and celebrated students’ positive behavior during the third nine weeks of the school year with a special event on March 27.

The activity, offered through the school’s Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS) program, served as a reward for students, who earned enough Positive Planets tickets to fill up the “Principal’s Club,” which keeps a record of those students who have been recognized for positive actions and behaviors.

At the event, students could create clay animals, make scratch art animal masks, or complete coloring pages. Other activities included LEGO building, dancing and a photo booth. Each student was also awarded an “animal certificate” to recognize their hard work and positive attitude toward demonstrating “The Mars Way!”
