Mars Area School Board voted to adopt the Mars Area School District Calendar for the 2026-2027 School Year.

The calendar sets the first day of school on Tuesday, Aug. 25. Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences will be offered for Grades K-12 on Monday, Nov. 23 (In-Service Day), and for Grades K-6 on Tuesday, Nov. 24 (Act 80 Day).

Thanksgiving Break will be held Wednesday, Nov. 25, through Monday, Nov. 30. An In-Service Day will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 23, and Winter Break will be Thursday, Dec. 24, through Friday, Jan. 1.

Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences will be offered for Grades K-6 only on Wednesday, March 24 (In-Service Day); Spring Break will be held Thursday, March 25, through Monday, March 29; and a Vacation Day is scheduled on Friday, April 16.

Mars Area High School’s Senior Prom is scheduled on Friday, May 7 (Act 80 Day). The last day of school for students is set for Wednesday, June 2, and the Class of 2027 graduation ceremony on Thursday, June 3.
