Construction has begun on an access road that will run parallel to Route 228 in front of Mars Area Primary Center and will connect the school’s parking lot directly to Brickyard Road.

 

During the construction, access to the District’s Administration Office, Mars Area Primary Center and Mars Area Elementary School is only available via the Doc’s Way access road by way of Three Degree Road. Visitors to our buildings are asked to plan according and to keep out of all marked construction areas, which may present a safety hazard as work is ongoing. 

 

The new access road is expected to be completed prior to the start of the 2024-2025 School Year, at which time, all Route 228 access to the buildings will be by way of Brickyard Road. This work will include newly configured parking lots at the Primary Center and Administration Office as well as sidewalks and ADA accommodations.
