A Mars resident, Long serves as vice president of construction, design and facilities at Giant Eagle Inc. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Colorado State University and a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering, construction management, from Pennsylvania State University.
Long will complete the remainder of Thurner’s term on the Board, which expires in December 2025. He will be sworn in at the Board’s Regular Meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
