Mars Area School Board voted to adopt the Mars Area School District Calendar for the 2024-2025 School Year.

The calendar sets the first day of school on Thursday, Aug. 22. Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences will be offered for Grades K-12 on Monday, Nov. 11 (In-Service Day), and for Grades K-6 on Tuesday, Nov. 12 (Act 80 Day). 

Thanksgiving Break will be held Thursday, Nov. 28, through Monday, Dec. 2. An In-Service Day will be held on Friday, Dec. 20, and Winter Break will be Monday, Dec. 23, through Friday, Jan. 3.

Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences will be offered for Grades K-6 only on Friday, March 7 (In-Service Day), and a Vacation Day is scheduled on Friday, March 21. Spring Break will be held Thursday, April 17, through Tuesday, April 22.

Mars Area High School’s Senior Prom is scheduled on Friday, May 9 (Act 80 Day). The last day of school for students is set for Wednesday, June 4, and the Class of 2025 graduation ceremony on Thursday, June 5.
