Mars Area School Board voted to adopt the Mars Area School District Calendar for the 2022-2023 School Year.

The calendar sets the first day of school on Wednesday, Aug. 24. Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences will be offered for Grades K-12 on Thursday, Nov. 10 (In-Service Day) and for Grades K-6 on Friday, Nov. 11 (Act 80 Day).

Thanksgiving Break will be held Thursday, Nov. 24, through Monday, Nov. 28. An In-Service Day will be held on Thursday, Dec. 22, and Winter Break will be Friday, Dec. 23, through Monday, Jan. 2.

Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences will be offered for Grades K-6 only on Monday, March 20 (In-Service Day). Spring Break will be held Thursday, April 6, through Monday, April 10.

Mars Area High School’s Senior Prom is scheduled on Friday, May 12 (Act 80 Day). The last day of school for students is set for Thursday, June 1, and the Class of 2023 graduation ceremony on Friday, June 2.
