Mars Area School District's Special Education Parent Advisory Committee and Gifted Parent Advisory Committee have published quarterly newsletters — the Mars SPECIAL EDition and MASD Gifted Quarterly.

The Special Education PAC  and Gifted Education PAC were established in as a means to inform parents about gifted education issues; provide trainings for parents; improve communication between administrators, teachers, parents, service providers and community agencies; and, to maintain and improve the delivery of evidence-based education practices and programs throughout the District.
