Mars Planet Foundation’s virtual “Walk Around Mars” will be held Monday, March 29, through Monday, May 10. 

The goal of the event is to collectively achieve enough miles (13,263) to make one lap around the surface of the Planet Mars. To achieve that task, participants are each asked to log a total of 26.5 miles during the six-week event.

Throughout the fundraiser, participants will also be encouraged to share their support and pictures via social media, using the hashtags, #WalkAroundMars and #WalkRndMars, especially during three (3) theme weeks — “Out of This World Costume Week” (April 5-9), “Where’s the Martian Week?” (April 19-23) and “Spring has Sprung Week” (May 3-7). Prizes will be awarded for the most original photos.
