New Regulations in Place for Students Attending Home Football Games

Beginning with the Fightin’ Planets Varsity Football Team's Home Game on Friday, Sept. 27students will no longer be permitted to enter Mars Athletic Complex with backpacks/bags and/or liquid containers.

This new restriction will be enforced by District security personnel at the gate. Any student carrying a backpack/bag and/or liquid container(s) will be asked to return the item(s) to his/her vehicle or to discard of the item(s) before entering the stadium. Mars Area School District will not be responsible for any items left at the gate and/or ticket booth.

In addition, all parent(s)/guardians are reminded that students in Grades K-6 and younger children who are attending sporting events at Mars Athletic Complex should be accompanied by and under the supervision of an adult family member and/or guardian at all times. No children are to be left unattended.  

Finally, all parents/guardians are asked to please note that the use of tobacco products in any form (including e-cigarettes), alcoholic beverages, controlled substances and weapons are strictly prohibited on School District property. Anyone found to be in possession of prohibited items will be immediately referred to local law enforcement.
