Mars Area Elementary School will hold its annual Read Across America Week celebration of reading and literacy, Monday, Feb. 25, through Friday, March 1:
- Monday, Feb. 25 — “Sleep Book” Day — Students may wear pajamas to school.
- Tuesday, Feb. 26 — “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish” Day — Students may wear their favorite color or number.
- Wednesday, Feb. 27 — “Wacky Wednesday” — Students may wear their shirts backwards.
- Thursday, Feb. 28 — “Fox in Sox” Day — Students may wear crazy socks to school.
- Friday, March 1 — “Be a Storybook Character Today” Day — Students dress up as their favorite children’s book character.
