Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team will take on the Hampton Talbots in the final game of the 2018 WPIAL Class 2A Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championship at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 25, at Robert Morris University.
The Fightin’ Planets conquered the Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic Trojans 20-5 in the WPIAL semifinals on May 23; and swatted the Freeport Yellowjackets 18-5 in the WPIAL quarterfinals on May 17. The team ended the 2018 regular season with an overall record of 14-1and 4-0 in section play, earning the 2018 Section 1-2A title.
