Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team will take on the South Fayette Lions in the final game of the 2026 WPIAL Class 2A Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championship at 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, at Upper St. Clair High School.

The Fightin’ Planets trounced the Hampton Talbots 15-9 in the WPIAL Semifinals on May 18; and, grounded the Bethel Park Black Hawks 8-7 in the WPIAL Quarterfinals on May 14. The team ended the regular season with an overall record of 12-4 and 9-1 in Section 2-2A.

Tickets for the WPIAL final are $10 and may be purchased online at https://gofan.co/WPIAL. All tickets sold at the gate are $10.
