Mars Area High School’s Competition Cheer Team will compete in the 2025 PIAA Competitive Spirit Championships, to be held Jan. 30-31 at Santander Arena (Reading, Pa.).

The Lady Planets will first perform in the preliminary round at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30. The team advanced to the state playoffs after earning a combined score of 74.2 in the 2024-2025 WPIAL Competitive Spirit Championships, on Jan. 4.
