Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team will take on the Cocalico Eagles in the first round of the 2026 PIAA Class 2A Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championship at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, at Mars Athletic Complex.

The Fightin’ Planets defeated South Fayette Lions 9-6 in the final game of the 2026 WPIAL Class 2A Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championship on May 21, earning the Fightin’ Planets’ 10th consecutive WPIAL Title.

The team trounced the Hampton Talbots 15-9 in the WPIAL Semifinals on May 18; and, grounded the Bethel Park Black Hawks 8-7 in the WPIAL Quarterfinals on May 14. The Planets ended the regular season with an overall record of 12-4 and 9-1 in Section 2-2A.
