Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team will take on the Susquehannock Warriors in the first round of the 2026 PIAA Class 2A Girls Varsity Lacrosse Championship at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, at Mars Athletic Complex. 

The Lady Planets defeated the Quaker Valley Quakers 19-5 in the final game of the 2026 WPIAL Class 2A Girls Varsity Lacrosse Championship on May 21, earning the team’s fifth consecutive WPIAL Title.

The team tamed the South Fayette Lions 14-11 in the WPIAL Semifinals on May 18; and, grounded the Oakland Catholic Eagles 23-1 in the WPIAL Quarterfinals on May 13. The Planets ended the regular season with an overall record of 16-1 and went undefeated (10-0) in section play, earning the Section 2-2A title.
