Mars Area High School Varsity Hockey Team will take on the Quaker Valley Quakers in the semifinals of the 2026 PIHL (Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League) Class A Penguins Cup Playoffs at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, at Robert Morris University Island Sports Center.

The Planets broke the Plum Mustangs 4-1 in the Penguins Cup Quarterfinals on March 2. The team ended the 2025-2026 regular season with an overall record of 15-1.
