Mars Area High School Varsity Competition Cheer Team will compete in the Small Varsity division at the 2025-2026 PIAA Class 3A Competitive Spirit State Championships, to be held Jan. 9-10 at 1st Summit Arena (Johnstown, Pa.).

The Planets will perform in the preliminary round at approximately 3:16 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 9. The team advanced to the state championship after placing in the 2025-2026 WPIAL Class 3A Competitive Spirit Competition on Dec. 20.
