Mars Area High School will host its annual “Friday Night Lineup” event at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 17, at Mars Athletic Complex. Gates open at 6 p.m.

The event, which is open to the entire Mars Area community, will offer performances by the Mars Area High School cheerleaders, dance team and marching band as well as an opportunity to meet the members of the 2025-2026 Fightin’ Planets Varsity Football Team.

Food and other refreshments will be available for purchase. Food trucks will include Jordan’s Dirty Soda, Kona Ice and Moe’s Queso Take Over.

Admission is free. However, attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to benefit those in need through Inspired Hearts & Hands. Monetary donations will also be accepted online at https://e.givesmart.com/events/DTa/.
