Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team will take on the Blackhawk Cougars in the semifinals of the 2025 WPIAL Class 2A Girls Varsity Lacrosse Championship at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 19, at Martorelli Stadium (West View).

The Lady Planets grounded the Oakland Catholic Eagles 23-1 in the WPIAL Quarterfinals on May 14. The team ended the regular season with an overall record of 15-1 and went undefeated (10-0) in section play, earning the Section 2-2A title.
