Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team will take on the South Fayette Lions in the final game of the 2024 WPIAL Class 2A Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championship at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, at Robert Morris University’s Joe Walton Stadium. 

The Fightin’ Planets tamed the Hampton Talbots 13-0 in the WPIAL Semifinals on May 20; and routed the Seton LaSalle Rebels 25-1 in the WPIAL quarterfinals on May 15. The team ended the regular season with an overall record of 14-3 and went undefeated (10-0) in section, earning the 2024 Section 2-2A title.
