Mars Area High School will host a “Friday Night Lineup” event at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 20, at Mars Athletic Complex.

The event, which is open to the entire Mars Area community, will offer an opportunity to meet the members of the 2023-2024 Fightin’ Planets Varsity Football Team as well as performances by the Mars Area High School cheerleaders, dance team and marching band.

Admission is free. Food trucks and refreshment, provided by Galaxy Donuts, Hot Mama’s Pierogies, Jordan’s, Lettopalena’s Pizza & Italian Cuisine, and Sweet Pea’s Ice Cream, will be available for purchase.

In addition, donation will be collected to benefit those families affected by the Aug. 12 Home Explosion in Plum Borough.
