Mars Area School District’s elementary schools (K-6) will celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month with the following theme days:
- Monday, May 15 — “Working Out Can Reduce Anxiety, Depression & Negative Moods” Day — Students are encouraged to wear relaxing clothing.
- Tuesday, May 16 — “Music Can Elevate Your Mood, Reduce Stress & Increase Relaxation” Day — Students may wear a t-shirt featuring their favorite band or music genre.
- Wednesday, May 17 — “Colors Can Impact Our Moods” Day — Students may wear dark blue colors.
- Thursday, May 18 — “Share the Many Colors of the Many Emotions You Feel” Day — Students may wear tie-dye or colorful clothes.
- Friday, May 19 — “Wear Green For Mental Health Awareness Month” Day — Students may wear green colors.
