For those, who have signed up to participate in Mars Planet Foundation’s “Walk Around Mars” fundraiser, registration packets may be picked up from 4:30 to 7 p.m., on Wednesday, April 12,  and Thursday, April 13, at Mars Area High School.

The goal of the fundraiser, set for Sunday, April 16, through Saturday, May 6, is to collectively achieve enough miles (13,263) to make one lap around the surface of the Planet Mars. To achieve that task, each participant is asked to log a total of 26.5 miles throughout the six-week event. (Note: articipants can text “MarsTrack” to 71777 to track their miles.)
