Mars Area Primary Center will offer a Kindergarten Preview for students, who will be enrolling in the school’s 2023-2024 Kindergarten Program, and their parents/guardians on Thursday, March 30.
The preview event will be offered in two sessions — 9:30 to 11 a.m. or 1 to 2:30 p.m. — and activities will include a school scavenger hunt, a library “read-aloud,” and a school bus ride.To register for the Kindergarten Preview, visit https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0948a4ad2caaf8c16-pckindergarten#/.
Beginning with the current school year, Mars Area School District implemented an Online Student Enrollment system, which may be accessed via the District’s website, www.marsk12.org. Online registration for Mars Area Primary Center’s 2023-2024 Kindergarten Program will open at 8 a.m. on Friday, March 31.
Note: As part of the online student enrollment process, parents/ guardians will be asked to select their (AM or PM) kindergarten session preference (Step 6). The time stamp when each completed application is submitted, as well as the selected preference, will be used to determine into which kindergarten session a student is placed. Once the maximum class size is reached, the session will be closed and individuals may be placed on a waiting list for their session preference. For the 2023-2024 School Year, AM Kindergarten will be open to a maximum of 106 students.
