Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Basketball Team will take on the Trinity Hillers in the quarterfinals of the 2020-2021 WPIAL Class 5A Boys Basketball Championship at noon on Saturday, March 6, at Mars Area High School.
The Fightin’ Planets parried the Franklin Regional Panthers 54-45 in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs on March 3. The team ended the 2020-2021 regular season with an overall record of 13-2 and 9-2 in Section 4-5A.
Admission to all WPIAL playoff games is $7; however, given current gathering limitations and social distancing guidelines, as established by the Pennsylvania Office of the Governor and the Pennsylvania Department of Health, limited advance ticket sales will only be available to the families of those basketball players who are participating in the game. All ticket sales will be handled by the Athletic Office.
