Several Mars Area High School students will be recognized at a virtual 2021 Pittsburgh Arts Region Scholastic Art Awards Ceremony at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 4, online at www.youtube.com/user/ScholasticGoldKey. 

Senior Aspen Wilson and junior Amelia Vinson will be awarded Gold Keys; and, seniors Kendall Ceh, Aspen Wilson and Leah Yendell and sophomore Athena DePaoli will receive Silver Keys. Seniors Kendall Ceh, Isabel Mannella, Aspen Wilson and Leah Yendell; juniors Audrey Gehm and Amelia Vinson; and, freshman Vivian Frank will be awarded Honorable Mentions.

The virtual awards ceremony is being held in lieu of the annual Pittsburgh Arts Region Scholastic Art Exhibit, which could not be held given current social distancing guidelines and gathering restrictions. The Alliance for Young Artists & Writers will present the event.
