Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Basketball Team will take on the Chartiers Valley Colts in the semifinals of the 2020-2021 WPIAL Class 5A Boys Basketball Championship at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, at Chartiers Valley High School (Bridgeville, Pa.).

The Fightin’ Planets topped the Trinity Hillers 67-55 in the WPIAL quarterfinals on March 6 and parried the Franklin Regional Panthers 54-45 in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs on March 3. The team ended the 2020-2021 regular season with an overall record of 13-2 and 9-2 in Section 4-5A.

Admission to all WPIAL playoff games is $7. A limited number of tickets will made available to the public and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 10, in the Athletics Office.
