Mars Area Centennial School and Mars Area Elementary School will celebrate Read Across America Week, March 1-5, with the following theme days:
- Monday, March 1 — “Read Your Shirt” Day — Students may wear a short with words on it.
- Tuesday, March 2 — “Celebrate Read Across America” Day — Students may wear red, white and blue colors.
- Wednesday, March 3 — “Be The Kind Mars Kid & Read” Day — Students may wear their #bethekindkid t-shirts or school colors (blue & gold).
- Thursday, March 4 — “Crazy Fox in Socks” Day — Students may wear crazy socks or neon colors.
- Friday, March 5 — “Green Eggs & Ham” Day — Students may wear green colors.
