Mars Area High School will hold its 2020 Homecoming Celebration, Monday, Sept. 21, through Friday, Sept. 25.
Note: In order to adhere to current gathering limitations and social distancing guidelines, Mars Area High School is unable to hold the same homecoming activities as in year’s past. There will be no Powder Puff Football Games, Homecoming Pep Rally, Homecoming Parade and Homecoming Dance.
Spirit Week will include the following themed days:
- Monday, Sept. 21 — “Comfy Cozy” Day
- Tuesday, Sept. 22 — “Team Spirit” Day
- Wednesday, Sept. 23 — Wacky Wednesday
- Thursday, Sept. 24 — “Red, White & Blue” Day
- Friday, Sept. 25 — “School Spirit” (Blue & Gold) Day
ALL MARS AREA STUDENTS (GRADES K-12) ARE ENCOURAGED TO JOIN IN THE HOMECOMING SPIRIT WEEK CELEBRATION.
The celebration will conclude with the Fightin’ Planets Homecoming Football Game against the Plum Mustangs at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, at Mars Athletic Complex. The 2020 Homecoming King will be announced prior to the game and the Homecoming Queen at halftime.
