Mars Area High School students will present the musical, Mamma Mia!, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 20, and at 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, in the auditorium.

The story, told through the music of ABBA, follows Sophie (Meghan McKenzie), a young woman searching for her birth father to give her away at her wedding; however, her mother, Donna (Ellie Howell), the former lead singer of a 1970s pop group, refuses to talk about the past. Sneaking a peek at her mother’s old diaries, Sophie invites three potential candidates Bill (Mitchell Wright), Harry (Michael Crowley) and Sam (Zachary Ottenweller), to her wedding.

Tickets are $12 per person for reserved seating and, beginning Sunday, Feb. 23, will be available for purchase online at www.showtix4u.com. To purchase tickets, enter “Mars” in the search field and select “Mamma Mia.” 

A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase at the door prior to each performance. A portion of the proceeds benefits Mars Planet Foundation.
