Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Hockey Team will compete in the quarterfinals of the 2020 Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League (PIHL) Class 2A Penguins Cup Playoffs at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 2, at Baierl Ice Complex.
Note: The Fightin’ Planets will take on the winner of the first round playoff game, pitting the Montour Spartans against the West Allegheny Indians on Sunday, March 1.
The team ended the 2019-2020 regular season with an overall record of 10-8 and 5-1 in the Class 2A Northwest Division. Last season, the team advanced to the first round of the PIHL playoffs.
