Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Soccer Team will take on the Franklin Regional Panthers in the final game of the 2020 WPIAL Class 3A Boys Soccer Championship at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, at North Allegheny Senior High School.

The Fightin’ Planets tamed the South Fayette Lions 3-1 in WPIAL semifinals on Nov. 2; routed the Hampton Talbots 1-0 in double overtime in the quarterfinals on Oct. 28; and broke the Laurel Highlands Mustangs 5-1 in the first round of the playoffs on Oct. 24. The team ended the 2020 regular season undefeated with an overall record of 14-0 and 12-0 in section play, earning the Section 1-3A title.
