Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Soccer Team will take on the South Fayette Lions in the semifinals of the 2020 WPIAL Class 3A Boys Soccer Championship at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, at Mars Athletic Complex.

The Fightin’ Planets defeated the Hampton Talbots 1-0 in double overtime in the WPIAL quarterfinals on Oct. 28; and broke the Laurel Highlands Mustangs 5-1 in the first round of the playoffs on Oct. 24. The team ended the 2020 regular season undefeated with an overall record of 14-0 and 12-0 in section play, earning the Section 1-3A title.
