Mars Area Public Library will offer a "Basics of Shoeing & Hoof Care" program from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28.
Jill Beidl-McCandless, ferrier, will discuss shoeing, hoof care and prevalent diseases affecting lameness in hooved animals.
