Mars Area Elementary School will hold its annual Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser, Tuesday, Feb. 20, through Monday, Feb. 26, to benefit the American Heart Association.

As part of the event, students in second through fourth grades will be asked to collect pledges for the number of times they jump a rope in their physical education classes. During the 2016-2017 School Year, the event raised $22,762 for the cause.
