Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Soccer Team will take on the Hampton Talbots in the semifinals of the 2018 WPIAL Class 3A Girls Soccer Championship at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, at North Allegheny Senior High School.

The Lady Planets conquered the Montour Spartans 3-0 in the WPIAL quarterfinals on Oct. 24 and tamed the Greensburg Salem Golden Lions 9-0 in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs on Oct. 20. The team ended the 2018 regular season with an overall record of 15-0 and went undefeated (14-0) in section play, earning the Section 1-3A title.
