Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Soccer Team will take on the South Fayette Lions in the quarterfinals of the 2018 WPIAL Class 3A Boys Soccer Championship at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25, at Ambridge Area Senior High School (Ambridge, Pa.).

The Fightin’ Planets subdued the Chartiers Valley Colts 4-1 in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs on Oct. 22. The team ended the 2018 regular season with an overall record of 16-1-1 and remaining undefeated (14-0) in section play, earning the Section 1-3A title.
