Mars Area High School will hold its 2017 Mars Area Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 8, at Mars Area Middle School.
Inductees are:
• D.J. Cannon, Class of 2007 (Baseball)
• Monica Glomb, Class of 2007 (Softball)
• Haley Wojdowski, Class of 2003 (Basketball)
• Bob Kalkowski, Class of 1990 (Football)
• Bobby McGraw, Class of 1990 (contributor)
• Laurie Ewers Polite, Class of 1984 (Basketball)
• Larry McDonough, Class of 1982 (Cross Country)
All inductees will also be recognized at approximately 6:30 p.m., prior to the Fightin’ Planets football game against the Blackhawk Cougars at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 8, at Mars Athletic Complex.
The Mars Area Sports Hall of Fame recognizes those individuals who have distinguished themselves in athletics during and beyond their years at Mars Area School District. Nominations are accepted through April 30 of the previous school year.
