Student Software

The following software and computer programs are pre-loaded on each students’ laptop computer

• Windows 10  64-Bit
• Office 2016 Professional Plus – Includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Access, Outlook, InfoPath, Publisher
• Adobe Reader
• Google Chrome
• Windows Defender
• Microsoft Silverlight

Students are not permitted to load software on their District laptop. Some common examples of prohibited software may include, but are not limited to, file sharing (Limewire, BitTorrent), utilities/OS (OSX or other upgrades), games (Halo, Emulators), etc. Laptops are subject to spot checks for compliance by administration.

Student Access

• Shared network storage (Student S: Drives)
• Cloud storage (OneDrive or GoogleDrive)
• Student provided e-mail address using Outlook or http://mail.marsk12.org
• All e-mail addresses will be monitored.
